Hey ya'll!!! Recently Seremban COC just sent a contingent down to the tiny island south of Malaysia (a.k.a the highly respectable country called Singapore) to participate in the Moulmein group Singspiration. You might wonder what is this singspiration???? Well this is where we sing and receive inspiration from God and His word through our singing and fellowship therefore...
Sing + Inspiration =SINGSPIRATION
It was an eventful trip where we sped by the North-South highway at breath-taking speeds in a bus, and had a brief encounter with Singaporean customs officials... (nothing much, someone just brought pepper spray which apparently is illegal in Singapore :P). We left our hometown Seremban at about one am on a cool saturday morning and reached our destination(Moulmein COC) at 6am. We reached Singapore border checkpoint at 4:30 am. To burn up the time, we were led by our old friend Uncle Edwin Choy through this awesome country. First things first breakfast..... Here we treid the world renoun Kah Hee prawn mee!!! Nom nom nom :D And then in the afternoon we took the ever efficient Singaporean MRT to Orchard station to take the girls of our contingent out shopping where the boys spent 2 hours sleeping in the hawker centre while the girls went to heaven XD. Later in the afternoon, we went back to the church compound to Bathe and prepare for the nights activities, and play some games amongst ourselves while waiting.... at last......
SINGSPIRATION!!!!!
We had a blast to start with, thanks to the leader of the singspiration Sue Ann. We enjoyed ourselves and were filled with joy as we sang praises to him and gave thanks to him for the blessings he has given us.
After singspiration, with our throats soar from the singing, the singaporeans decided to take us to their local hangout placefor ice-cream. There again we talked and sang and enjoyed ourselves in this family of Christ. This is whre we truly belonged, together.
We decided to stay through the night and join the Moulmein-eans for church service, and did not regret our choice :D We enjoyed another round of AWESOME singing, led by Don, and then enjoyed a dance performance that displays the love of Christ in us. We also learned a lot from Jordan and Uncle Mark who both shared a few scriptures and their meanings with us. We also had a wonderful lunch prepared by the Molmein-eans, which spelled heaven in every language... as the day went on, it came the time for our departure. As a last activity, some people decided to stay at church to play a dance game while others went to a LAN shop to play DOTA. LOL XD. But no matter how Man tries to slow time, it always goes faster. The time for us to leave has truly come, and we bid our last farewells. The Moulmein CoC youths were at the gates to bid us farewell as the Singaporean cabs took us to the bus station. As the church ever shrunk in the rear view mirror, I coudn't help but wonder and hope when the next fellowship with these guys will be :D As I put a close to this blog entry, I just wanna thank God for bringing us together and allowing us to know this wonderful group of people, and pray that he will bless them in all that they do for Him and His works.

A post I saw on facebook recently. Just want to reach out to whoever reading this blog, that no matter what the situation is, there are always people there for you. Even when all seems dark, Jesus Christ, God and his children an family on earth are always there for you.
Want to kill yourself? Imagine this. You come home from school one day. You’ve had yet another horrible day. You’re just ready to give up. So you go to your room, close the door, and take out that suicide note you’ve written and rewritten over and over and over You take out those razor blades, and cut for the very last time. You grab that bottle of pills and take them all. Laying down, holding the l etter to your chest, you close your eyes for the very last time. A few hours later, your little brother knocks on your door to come tell you dinners ready. You don’t answer, so he walks in. All he sees is you laying on your bed, so he thinks you’re asleep. He tells your mom this. Your mom goes to your room to wake you up. She notices something is odd. She grabs the paper in your hand and reads it. Sobbing, she tries to wake you up. She’s screaming your name. Your brother, so confused, runs to go tell Dad that “Mummy is crying and sissy won’t wake up.” Your dad runs to your room. He looks at your mom, crying, holding the letter to her chest, sitting next to your lifeless body. It hits him, what’s going on, and he screams. He screams and throws something at the wall. And then, falling to his knees, he starts to cry. Your mom crawls over to him, and they sit there, holding each other, crying. The next day at school, there’s an announcement. The principal tells everyone about your suicide. It takes a few seconds for it to sink in, and once it does, everyone goes silent. Everyone blames themselves. Your teachers think they were too hard on you. Those mean popular girls, they think of all the things they’ve said to you. That boy that used to tease you and call you names, he can’t help but hate himself for never telling you how beautiful you really are. Your ex boyfriend, the one that you told everything to, that broke up with you.. He can’t handle it. He breaks down and starts crying, and runs out of the school. Your friends? They’re sobbing too, wondering how they could never see that anything was wrong, wishing they could have helped you before it was too late. And your best friend? She’s in shock. She can’t believe it. She knew what you were going through, but she never thought it would get that bad… Bad enough for you to end it. She can’t cry, she can’t feel anything. She stands up, walks out of the classroom, and just sinks to the floor. Shaking, screaming, but no tears coming out. It’s a few days later,at your funeral. The whole town came. Everyone knew you, that girl with the bright smile and bubbly personality. The one that was always there for them, the shoulder to cry on. Lots of people talk about all the good memories they had with you, there were a lot. Everyone’s crying, your little brother still doesn’t know you killed yourself, he’s too young. Your parents just said you died. It hurts him, a lot. You were his big sister, you were supposed to always be there for him. Your best friend, she stays strong through the entire service, but as soon as they start lowering your casket into the ground, she just loses it. She cries and cries and doesn’t stop for days. It’s two years later. The whole school talks to a counselor/therapist at least once a week. Your teachers all quit their job. Those mean girls have eating disorders now. That boy that used to tease you cuts himself. Your ex boyfriend doesn’t know how to love anymore and just sleeps around with girls. Your friends all go into depression. Your best friend? She tried to kill herself. She didn’t succeed like you did, but she tried… your brother? He finally found out the truth about your death. He self harms, he cries at night, he does exactly what you did for years leading up to your suicide. Your parents? Their marriage fell apart. Your dad became a workaholic to distract himself from your death. Your mom got diagnosed with depression and just lays in bed all day. People care. You may not think so, but they do. Your choices don’t just effect you. They effect everyone. Don’t end your life, you have so much to live for. Things can’t get better if you give up. I’m here for absolutely anyone that needs to talk, no matter who you are. Even if we’ve NEVER talked before, i’m here for you. ♥

BBQ, steamboat
For our July activity, we had a steamboat, BBQ session at the Templer restaurant (Opposite OK fish ball)
Mel and Emily each brought their friends to join us and all of them were the shy shy type.
The lil' gals (Emily and friends and Angel) kept saying they are very full but yet have space for ice-creams...
While Mel and his friends, who all resembles his young and cute characters kept eating and eating..
And the 'gor gor' and 'jie jie-s' just stopped eating after 2 hours of munching.
<< Emily and Friends
After, all of us headed to the church building to do some ice-breaking.
We began with our tradition: the WHO? WHAT? HUH? game
where Mel's friends got the chance to perform butt writing for us.
It was continued by the self-intro sessions, the chopstick game and Simon says...
An enjoyable night for all of us.
The whole activity ended at about 10.30pm and we were all dismissed.
