He's Our Lord...

Here's something to share.
Someone send me an e-mail and was stunned when I saw this..

"Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done...?
And the devil keeps throwing it up in your face
(lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness,etc..)...
whatever it is....

You need to know that:
God was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing.

[]

He has seen your whole life... He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He ' s just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.

The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness;
He not only forgives you, but He forgets."

Its so touching...

Vinashini Home

Our mission has accomplished!! 6 of our youths (Nav, Mit, Mei, Jia Ying, George, Ben, Melvin & Tim) have been accompanied by 2 of our 'veteran' youths (Kenneth & Mosha) to the Vinashini Home 3pm last Sunday..

There are quite a number of residents ranging from toddlers to elderly folks.. We bought some stationaries for the schooling kids there.. Then, our activities began~~~

We started with the song 'Father Abraham'.. Most of them had fun as we sung this action song.. we moved on to our next agenda- story time by Ben. Nav & Mit became our Tamil interpreter there as most of the kids are Indians & they don't really understand English that well.. 'once upon a time, an angel.....bla, bla, bla'*in tamil* (in fact, we don't really understand as most of the story was told in tamil language=D)

We continued with some games- a.e.i.o.u, pepsi-cola & Simon says..... These games remind us of our younger days.. Some of us even lost to the kids there =P.. We then continued to sing some songs of our yester years.. HahaXD.. Really missed our childhood moments..

At last, the children there even conducted a game for us.. A ball will be put behind of us and we're suppose to run & grab a place.. We had great fun until it was time for them to have their dinner.. We bid farewell to them & the caretakers came to thanked us..

It's better to give them to receive.. Not only the children have enjoyed themselves, we had also gained an experience.... As it is written:" He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor: his righteousness endures forever" (2 Cor 9:9), "for God Loves a cheerful giver"(2 Cor 9:7).

Its time to Par-Tee!
Georgie's Birthday party was a blast!!!
Many of us went celebrating for him.
Auntie Cindy was so excited.
His house was crowded with people
Full of relatives and friends..
What a nice party
Everyone chit-chatting happily..
Congratulated our BIG BRO being 21 now..
He even wore a gold chain with his name carved...
Was told that he owned it ever since he was a baby and
only wore it for the 1st time after 21 years of living..
His 1st time wearing a chain.. lolz..

All of us were cam-whoring the whole time..
Even when its time to cut the cake...
Cut..cut..
Everyone was busy taking pictures of themselves and
didn't realized that the candles were melting..
Its 'sinked' into the cake..
Posing and wearing a BIG grin on all our faces..
(We even took loads of pictures with the balloon flowers.. XD)

After being stuffed by food,
the game begins~
We played so called 'Human Hoola Hoop Wave'..
Faced difficulty in dividing into groups of 9.
(No group wants to accept Auntie Peek Young...haha.. Her children declined her even..sad)
In the end, she joined the other group with the birthday boy ...
The battle begins...
1st round: Above 20 against below 20' (well except Ben and Angel there..)
Everyone cheered happily for both teams and...
OMG. the younger ones lost to the older group, how can it be??
Then, Ah Ping jie jie asked for a group of Aunties VS Uncles..
Damn funny..
All the Aunties and uncles battled for their lives hoping to win each other..
The crowd was cheering and shouting happily for all of them...
In the end, guess who won?
Rite, the Aunties team won!!!
Congrats
As a punishment,
all uncles had to spin the hoola hoop..
But no one succeeded in doing so.. lolz

Everyone's face was lighted with a BIG smiles by when the game ended.
Its so fun watching older people playing like a small kid..hahas
Soon, the party was over and everyone was starting to leave
Our dear Big Bro was enlighten with happiness..
Hopefully he will enjoy his 'youthful' years...
Happy 21!!!

** We secretly did something behind... Its so exciting just to cover up...lolz.. Shh.. dun tell anyone..^^

July~

Its another God's day
All of us gather back in His church, worshiped Him..
Ong Leng and Su Lin came back last week and will be leaving by 1 Aug.
Its good to have them here with us...
Uncle Kenneth taught the class today,
The topic is: A Great Man Meets His End
God gave all of us a blessing, a gift, a talent..
In fact, lets apply a "s'' behind all of them..
We should treasure all of them by putting them in good use..
Here's a sneak peak of our 'talents'..

Wei Sern - singing~can praise God, making people around him feel good (Shyuan's pov)
Ben - Sleep, eat (its what he usually do at home..) , making people happy (Mithi's opinion)
Mithi - Have a good PR (not bad)
Georgie - Making himself happy (What a great talent!!)
Soong Sern - Mixing around with others?? Did I get this right?
Chye Mei - Hardworking (bro's idea) [U.K. said its not a talent]
Jia Ying - excel in her studies (quite true)
Mi Shyuan - Feel the need of helping others...??
Ai Ting - dunno??
Zong Zhen - Huh??
Edwin - open-minded (Erm...), can imitate accent...(not bad)
Henrina - Thinking...
Timothy - Talent of being NAUGHTY!!! (Dad's words)

Oh ya, please do take note that we will be leaving the building by 3 pm to Vinashini Home..
Be prepared o!!!

** Georgie's B'day party's tonight. Come come!!

Hello and welcome

Yeah.. yeah, its the 1st post of our blog... I'm so excited!!!

This is a post in account of the events last week... 12 July 2009
v
v
Its Seremban Half Marathon last week and a few of us joined in the race..
Ben, Melvin, Wei Sern, Timothy, Chye Mei, Mi Shyuan had competed against 9000 others in the run around half of Seremban. Even our dear Uncle Tony joined the fun.
They reached there early this year and ran for their lives as to compete with the others...(It isn't real actually...^^)
After an hour or so, our few beloved mates were back to the finishing point and it was a surprise that Uncle Tony arrived earlier than the young ones. (Yea, they lack or stamina.. XD)
All of our racing dudes were back at the church building and was on time for bible class.
Mithi was the teacher that day and taught about Strength for the Battle (Joshua 11:1:15).
Vern gotta leave for hockey training and Beng had just left to Australia not too long ago.
There's now few of us left in the small tiny bible class and we managed to sit through his whole lesson listening intensively to what he taught.
We came to a conclusion that we were going to visit Vinashini Home on the 26th.
There will also be a Leadership Workshop on the 29th August and there's a BBQ on the same night.
We had our church lunch in the afternoon and everyone went back to where they came from after that...
Hopefully whatever we plan will be a blast.. God bless..
